Norwegian Forest Cat Kittens

Your Future Kitten Info

=^..^= Our Norwegian Forest Cat kittens are placed when we feel that they are ready to go to their new compatible homes no sooner than 13 weeks of age on a first come first serve basis. We will send you our kitten questionnaire form to fill out and if your application is accepted we will initially require a non-refundable deposit of $216 ($200 plus 8% NYS sales tax of $16). This deposit will hold your place in queue. We will place you on the waiting list and contact you when there is a kitten available. When you have chosen your kitten we require a booking deposit of $702 ($650 plus 8% NYS sales tax of $52) which is half the cost of your kitten. We will send you a contract of sale listing the name of the kitten you have chosen which you will initial, sign, date and send back with your deposit. The remainder of $702 will be due (in cash) when you arrive here to bring your kitten home or by check two weeks before you arrive here to bring your kitten home. Total cost for our kittens is $1620 which includes the non-refundable deposit of $216 and kitten cost of $1404.

=^..^= Your kitten will have received two veterinary health exams including modified-live FVRCP vaccinations at 8 and 12 weeks administered by my veterinarian; a certificate of health and your kitten's electronic patient history chart from my veterinarian; a written sales contract with a genetic health guarantee including an altering agreement; and a brochure containing detailed care and grooming information. We send our kittens to their new homes with their favorite toys.

=^..^= Our kittens are placed in homes where they are kept indoor-only and will not have contact with cats that are allowed to roam free. Please do not contact us if you are in favor of and considering declawing. Our kittens use scratching posts to sharpen their nails.

=^..^= Cost for our young adults occasionally available is $864 ($800 plus 8% NYS sales tax of $64) which helps us with the cost of their altering. Your young adult has been altered and is current on all vaccines and has been microchipped. You will receive a certificate of health from my veterinarian; a written sales contract with a brochure containing detailed care and grooming information as well as a health guarantee.

=^..^= Breeding cats are screened normal/negative for HCM; GSD IV DNA-tested normal/negative; PK-Deficiency tested normal/negative; all cats in our home are FeLV/FIV tested negative.

We currently have a waiting list for kittens and we are accepting deposits only from homes where future kitten owners are not in a hurry for a kitten. We have future breeding plans but will no longer post tentative plans as we have done in the past. Constantly changing plans on our site is confusing for those on our waiting list as well as for those with an interest in our kittens. We will keep this page updated when a litter is born with the current availability of each kitten. Mother Nature will ultimately decide when the time is right for kittens to arrive.

Finnishline Norwegian Forest Cats reserves the right to refuse placement of any kitten.
